Art Show:: Digital Revolution in Athens

Hello everyone! Today I’m gonna give you a glimpse on Digital Revolution Art Show which I recently visited. It is located at Onasis Cultural Center in Athens and it will last until 10th of January so you still got time to step in.

When it comes to the description I beleive the adjective “digital” advise us beforehand that art and technology will somehow be combined in a promising and playful way, which appeared to be true. There was a plethora of old video games, such as Atari and Gameboy, completely functional for whoever wished to score. In addition to this there was a noteworthy number of interactive games that allowed you to be part of an imaginary world, both 2D and 3D  created.

One of the things that impressed me the most was the fact that you could create your very own and unique butterfly using your voice by talking to a microphone and watch it fly to the infinitive. You could also make your eyes burn in white flames or dance with a hologram that follows your moves into its spectrum. Also you coud take a glimpe of futuristic fashion where your tweets would appear on a high-tech skirt , whle wearing neon make up that ‘s being activated by your facial moves and watch interviws of artists while completing their projects.

Summing up it is a note-worthy art show for the whole family (and perfect date spot) that invites you to a new techy environment in blue and black colors dressed with neon lights.

Don’t You Ever Quit!

Hello dear friends! Today I woke up having all the things I wanna achieve in my mind but suddendly doubt knocked on my door. Can I make it all happen? I have such limited time, a day job that requires lots of energy and physical strength and my design school, that i have to fit in a busy schedule, how can I make it all happen? Aaah! Stress attack!

It was about then that I checked my inbox and found this article written by my beloved Sarah on how chasing your dreams will not always be an easy job but at the end of the day it totaly worths the trouble. The key element to success is to be consistent. Yes! You have to insist and persist and overcome all the obstacles that come in your way.

That’s why I’m writing this post right now, before I head on to work. I have all this beautiful ideas on my mind. Art. Design. Self-love. Courage. Self-development. Friendship. Love. And big dreams. Don’t you ever forget that they ‘ll come to you as long as you show up.

Because if you can dream it, it’s yours. You just need a good plan.

Lots of kisses until next time!

Love

Artemis
