My very own to-do list for the rest of 2014
I was watching the Creative live broadcast on How To Build A Successful Creative Blog and suddenly the smell of pop corn filled my nostrils and I had this feeling like I was in a theater. I have no idea what happened, really! The only thing I could set my mind on was when I’m gonna visit every gallery in Athens. I definitely have to add that to my to-do list. I’m a little left behind with organising my schedule and be more disciplined about it. As a true creative I tend to jump from one task to another and often leaving things unfinished, or in the middle and I come back to them later on.
There are so many things I wanna accomplish until the year changes. Truly. I am going to make the most out of this juicy year. So, here’s my list for the rest of 2014. All the things I am going to fulfill with unspeakable passion and joy.
1. Visit 4 Art Galleries and blog about them.
I’m a visual artist and Art feeds me. I breathe it and I exhale star dust and colors and creativity and passion and energy. And even though I spend lots of time on the interwebs browsing through other artist’s work, being inspired, amazed and, I dare to admit, jealous, I rarely take my firm butt outside to a gallery or a Museum. Mostly due to unthoughtfulness. I neglect the fact that I have all these options and I can come face to face with a painting or a printed photo. But that’s about to change!
2. Write better blog posts
I’ve been meaning to improve the information I provide for quite some time now, but truth to be told, I was way to busy to dedicate the amount of time I ‘d like on research. Yet, the time has come. I promised myself to bring you richer and more helpful content and quality posts.
3. Start a travel series
As you may have noticed, I absolutely love traveling. Exploring new places, meeting unknown people, tasting foreign cuisines and blending with the locals. I call my adventurous self a traveler and I have indeed visit a myriad of places, collecting photos and beautiful memories, and since I don’t write a travel blog I didn’t think sharing this kind of stories would be fitting, but that’s about to change, because I was wrong. Ha! I’m about to start my travel series soon, so stay tuned!
4. Have coffee with 2 Facebook friends
It’s true that my closest friends we aren’t interacting on social media. We talk on the phone, or on Skype, or on face to face while eating and drinking coffee. But with my other more distant friends tend to exchange more comments and likes. I ‘m a persona who prefers to have fewer true friends than a gazillion acquaintances, so my friend-list doesn’t renew often. It is true thought that I’d like to get to know better some of them and expand my social circle, so that’s what I’m about to do. Meet for a coffee or drink 2 of my Facebook friends. It may seem like a tiny number for for me is enough!
5. Finish my thesis
And last and I hope least the big bet with myself is to finally finish my thesis, that has haunted me all this time and get rid of the stress it causes me. Also I will be free to channel that energy into something that gives me joy and be more productive!
What’s your to-do list for the remaining 2014? I’d love to know. Tell me on the comments below.
Love and cupcakes until next time!
