A Day With No Obligations – The Perfect Day
Good morning my dear friends! Today I thought to share some personal stuff and describe my perfect day if there weren’t any obligations. Now, I’m sure everybody wished for that, but such days are rare, aren’t they? Thankfully Sundays are closer to that ideal than any other day and since today is such day I wanted to dedicate my post to Sunday bliss.
First of all I would wake up early, around 8.00 a.m. not to miss the morning the sun, which makes me happier than anything. Its hay make the colors of the buildings and trees more vivid than ever and it paints them with this unreasonable optimism that is my life’s slogan.
A walk on the town I live in never appears more tempting and unknown places call me to explore them. I believe Situationists said it right, when they claimed that every walk you take can teach you something new. Even if you’ve seen the same alleys a thousand times there’s always that small detail you missed and it makes such a difference to your perception of the world.
So, after an enjoyable wondering I would get back home and have a delicious and well cooked homemade meal, preferably traditional greek food. As a modern Greek I’m not proud of many things, but food is definitely one of them. (When I get a camera I’ll treat you with a sneak peek).
And last but not least I would lie lazy on my bed surrounded by my colored pencils and beloved books that never have failed me. Inspiration is always around and find its way out through my fingers.
All in I just described you today’s schedule! Hop! I’m out and about. I would very much like to hear how your perfect day would be. Don’t be shy, tell me in the comments!
